It has been one week since the start of the 2016 Arizona Fall League season began and all six of the Halo prospects have now seen playing time for the Scottsdale Scorpions. After a big game on Tuesday, Oct. 11, Angels prospects have been relatively quiet.

Halo hitting prospects have held their own over the week. 2B David Fletcher finally saw some playing time and went 1-for-3 in his first and only game with a double, two walks, and two runs scored. C Taylor Ward’s bat has gone soft after a big start to the season.

He is 0-for-4 since his first game. CF Michael Hermosillo has seen the most playing time out of all the Halo prospects. He is 3-for-11 with two walks, two runs scored, and a .748 slugging %. Overall, Angels prospects have held their ground with a .286 AVG.

As for pitching prospects, the stats don’t look pretty. They have pitched to the tune of a 11.74 ERA in 9.2 innings pitched with RHP Victor Alcantara being the biggest culprit. He has given up five earned runs in just two innings while walking four and striking out two.

RHP Grayson Long has given up three runs in just as many innings pitched. RHP Eduardo Paredes gave up two runs in 2.2 innings pitched with four strikeouts and a home run allowed. RHP Adam Hofacket gave up two runs on five hits in two innings pitched.

And Tim Tebow is 0-for-9.
