Angels buttercup their fans at Angel Stadium, lose 5th straight

Heck even Christmas in June could not help the Angels to victory

Almost as if we were watching a music video to our beloved seventh inning stretch song, the Angels, build up our hopes, just to let us down as the game ends with two men on and one ground out.

One positive to this game was that our starting pitcher Jered Weaver only gave up 4 of the 7 earned runs tonight. The rests were given up by Fernando Salas out of the bullpen, another positive is that Johnny Giavotella was red-hot tonight going 3 for 5.

He is certainly making the case to be the teams lead off hitter.  After this loss the Angels are currently sitting at the bottom of the AL west, something needs to be done fast if this team wants to make the wild card, but luckily it is not even the all-star break yet.

Tune in Tomorrow as the Angels send Chacin to the mound in order to avoid getting swept at our home ballpark.
