Angels 4 Rangers 1

April 25th 2015 (Game 018)

ANAHEIM – The Los Angeles Angels come from behind to beat the Rangers. C.J. Wilson was once again dominant as the Angels make it three straight wins. C.J. Wilson went six strong innings with only allowing one run. That one run came in the fourth as a wild pitch lead Beltre to score from third. The Rangers held that lead thanks to Colby Lewis as he went five strong innings and held the Angels to one hit through five. However the Angels would come into the bottom half of the sixth and score three runs to take the lead. The Angels would start a two our rally as Grant Green who was called up today would start it off with a walk. Next, Kole Calhoun would single to right field to bring up the MVP himself Mike Trout. Trout would get hit in the arm and would load the bases for Albert Pujols. Pujols would deliver for the Angels as he set a line drive to center to bring in a run to tie the game. However C.J. Cron would get his first career bases loaded hit to help the Angels take a 3-1 lead.

Cron came in clutch to give the Angels the lead and another come from behind win. The Angels would take that 3-1 lead into the 7th until Pujols gave the Angels another insurance run. Pujols would walk with the bases loaded to give the Angels a 4-1 lead. Just like last night the Angels bullpen was solid. Morin, Pestano, and Salas would go each an inning and would not allow a hit. Houston Street came on in the ninth to close out the game for his seventh save of the season. Street finished of the Rangers and the Angels win 4-1.
