The Angels are having a record breaking season…in a bad way

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have just finished off one of the worst road trips in the history of the organization. Let’s begin with the start of the series against the Seattle Mariners. The Halos offense managed to produce 11 runs in a three game series however it was not good enough.

The Mariners attacked the week starting rotation of Tim Lincecum and the bullpen to produced 17 runs in that series. The first sweep of the series. The Halos then went to Chicago to face the Cubs, and it got ugly fast. Including the opening series and the series played this week, the Angels have yet to score more than two runs against the Cubs in a single game.

The Cubs would sweep the Angels, as the Halos went to Cleveland to face the 1st place Indians. That is where the tribe would put the nail in the coffin on one of the worst series in Angels baseball history.

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register: The Angels 0-9 series trip matches another one back in May 1969. It has been 47 years since the Team has gone on a 0-9 trip. Awesome right?

When will the Halos win? It may be while. However stay tuned for more information on the Angels at the Halo HQ Website. Maybe some interesting news could come across the offices soon…or never.
