Angels Resolve National Anthem Dispute

April 18th 2015

HALO NEWS

ANAHEIM – The Angels and their ticket takers have apparently resolved a dispute over wether they should continue working and allowing patrons through the gates into Angel Stadium during the national anthem.

Angels ticket taker workers were coming out and telling all they were instructed to work during the national anthem. Before the April 10th Home Opener, Angels management had instructed ticket takers to keep scanning tickets during the anthem. However Angels policy has been and remains that all stadium employees working inside the ballpark stop working and stand to honor America.

The Angels who return to Monday to begin a seven-game home stand, issued a statement late friday night.

It looks like the Angels have resolved the problem before it got way out of hand. Angels return to the Big A to start a three game series against division rivalries Oakland Athletics.
