The Angels have just come off a very impressive series win against the A’s, but now the Astros are in town.

With the stellar performance of both Tim Lincecum and Jered Weaver over the weekend, the pressure was on for Jhoulys Chacin today. However he’s not doing so well right now…

Chacin has thrown 35 pitches and gave up 3 runs and it’s only the 1st Inning. It went from worse to ugly Monday Evening for Chacin. Jhoulys Chacin began his start with a walk and a hit by pitch, then gave up back-to-back two-out singles. The Astros lead, 3-0, in the 1st. Via (Alden Gonzales)

The Angels did a complete 180 as with two outs in the first inning, the have allowed half as many runs as they did in 3 games against the A’s. It’s 2-0. (Via Jeff Fletcher)
Not a good start to a probably long day of baseball. #LTBU tonight?
