Mike Trout is a finalist for the American League MVP award

Mike Trout earned his fifth straight nomination for American League MVP alongside Houston Astros’ Jose Altuve and Boston Red Sox’s Mookie Betts.
Per Staff Reports for the OC Register, the same three players were the top three for Player’s Choice
Awards AL Most Outstanding Player.
Mike Trout posted a .315 batting average with 29 homeruns, 100 RBI, and 30 stolen bases. He also led the league with a .441 on-base percentage. Other important nominations include N.L. MVP, which includes Kris Bryant, Corey Seager, and Daniel
Murphy. A.L. and N.L. Cy Young nominations include Rick Porcello, Corey Kluber, Justin Verlander, Max Scherzer, Kyle Hendricks, and Jon Lester, respectively.
