Angels 5 Indians 4 (Game 105) Record (56-49)

The Angels finally hit a home-stand and needed it. The Angels were on a six game road trip and got swept by the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers. I recently wrote an article on how the home-stand and facing the Cleveland Indians could help the Angels, check it out below.

It’s Time To Party, Angels Will Bounce Back With Indians In Town

Was I right? Well I guess I was. Garret Richards was on the mound for the Angels, and once again the Angels fell apart early in tonights game against the Indians. I noted in my latest article that the Angels showed fight and spirit against the Dodgers in the last game of the series, and did so tonight.

The Angels were down early 3-0, but that did not stop the comeback. Mike Trout and Kole Calhoun both singled in a run in the 5th Inning to make it a one run game. Indians led 3-2, but that did not last long.

Connor Gillaspie would hit his first home-run with the Angels and give them a one-run lead with a two-run shot in the 6th.

‘The 6th Inning was not over as David DeJesus would record his first hit as an Angel and it would be a good one, an RBI Single! Angels led 5-3 after that.

After the rough 1st Inning Garret Richards was in the zone. Richards would go 7.1 Innings and tie his record of eleven strike-outs. Richards was fired up and so was the fans. Houston Street would come in the 9th and close it out. A huge victory for the Angels.

LIGHT THAT BABY UP
