The Angels kicked off a six-game stint on the road versus the...
Week 2 Halo of the Week
Well, it took until the second week of the season but Mike Trout is finally the Halo of the Week. In a week where the Angels went a dismal 1-5, Trout was still able to hit .350, the only everyday player to hit over .300.
He also added two doubles, a homerun, and five walks. Unfortunately, he also tied for the team lead this week in strikeouts with six strikeouts. But I think everyone will take a few strikeouts from Trout in exchange for everything else he does on the field. While roaming centerfield this week, Trout also recorded 20 putouts with zero errors.
In a week where most Angels struggled to hit and put runs on the board (nine runs in five losses) Trout was one Angels player that continues to do his part for the team day in and day out. Honorable Mention:

Tyler Skaggs had a tough game last Tuesday at Oakland giving up five runs in five innings. But on Sunday afternoon, Skaggs looked like the pitcher we have been waiting for. Unfortunately the Angels all decided to give their bats the day off for Easter and only put up two hits. Hopefully this will be a turning point in Skaggs’ season.
