Try not to break anything when you read this Angels pitching stat

If you thought the Angels pitching were doing a good job this season, think again

With the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim losing their first game of the series against the Twins, it was clear that pitching has become a problem for the Halo’s. After the game, an interesting stat came to life as reading this will probably make you throw something against the wall.

Via Alden Gonzales beat writer for the MLB.com

“Angels starters 6 outs away from falling to 0-6, with an 8.33 ERA, over the last 7 games. And Shoemaker threw 8 scoreless in that stretch”

The Angels have no starting pitching with a winning record….

The starting rotation for the Halos are really that bad. With the injury to Garret Richards and Andrew Heaney not much as come out from the starters. Even with Shoemaker going 8 scoreless innings in his last game he was still unable to win the game.

Oh ya, and the Angels are also being booed by their own fans. It’s going to be a long season.
