There are three games left in the AFL season and the Scottsdale Scorpions have been eliminated from championship contention.
The point of the season, though, was not to make it to the championship, but rather to see what top prospects are made of. Angels prospects may not be as high profile as their teammates Gleyber Torres or Tim Tebow, but they have had productive season, particularly on the offensive side of the ball.
Taylor Ward has cooled down this week after a hot season. He was 2-for-15 in four games with a double, an RBI, and a walk.
David Fletcher also cooled down after a few hot weeks. He had a double and an RBI in three games and 14 at-bats this week. Michael Hermosillo again did not see the field.
Grayson Long made two starts this week, giving up four runs in six innings. His ERA is now 7.43. Eduardo Paredes gave up three runs in just 1.2 innings pitched in relief. He struck out one and walked one in two appearances. Adam Hofacket once again did not make an appearance.
