Breaking News: The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, acquired veteran outfielder Shane Victorino from the Boston Red Sox announced first by Tim Brown of Yahoo Sports via Twitter. Infielder Josh Rutledge will head to the Red Sox in the deal, while the Red Sox will also send an additional amount of cash to the Angels.
Victorino, 34, is a switch-hitting outfielder who has done much more damage from the right side of the plate in recent years. The Angels needed help in Left Fielder as Outfielder Matt Joyce has not fully produced yet, and does not look close to it.
