JOKE: The Angels have found their new LF: Sign Tim Tebow to 5yr deal

Former NFL quarterback and current ESPN broadcaster Tim Tebow is actively pursuing a career in professional baseball and plans to hold a workout for Major League Baseball teams later this month, according to his agents Jimmy Sexton and Nick Khan.

With the news that shocked the sports world, it did not take long for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to make a move. They have been looking to fix the problem in left field and may have found the missing puzzle piece.

I mean cmon, why couldn’t a former NFL QB not play in the MLB today? Tim Tebow stopped playing baseball 11 years ago, but who cares, it’s Tebow. All you have to do is catch the ball and hit dingers, not too hard to ask.

With that in mind, The Angels offered Tim Tebow a five-year 50 million dollar contract with the option of leading a bible study group on the airplane during away games. You get the faith and the skill. What a steal right?

According to Angels MVP Mike Trout, he’s even worried about his own job security.

Tebow is going to change the MLB world. I’ve never been this nervous in my whole life, Have you seen his arms? He could probably hit farther home runs than anybody on this team. Guess it’s time to take some steroids”

Tebow was an all-state baseball player in Florida that year and hit .494 as a junior, helping Nease High School reach the final four of the Florida state playoffs.

Will Tebow be able to lead the Angels to an incredible comeback in the 2nd half? I’m pretty sure Tebow has some connections on how to call the Angels from above and help the team out.
