The Angels selected outfielder, Brandon Marsh with the 60th pick of the 2016 MLB draft. Marsh is from Buford high school in Georgia. He was the 48th ranked amateur in the draft and was a two-sport star in high school, playing both center field in baseball and wide receiver on the school’s football team. Marsh is currently listed at 6’4″, 210 lbs and can play all three outfield spots.

He posses a strong left-handed bat, good speed and a solid throwing arm. Marsh has potential power as he rated 50 on the 20-80 scale. He can also hit for average as he hit an astounding .559 with only nine strikeouts in his senior season. Marsh has the tools to become a true five tool player and is a great potential pick for the Angels, who lack impact prospects in their barren farm system.
